Kasumi Japan – 1-Year Limited Warranty

At Kasumi Japan, we stand behind the craftsmanship and quality of every knife we sell. All Kasumi Japan knives come with a 1-year limited warranty from the delivery date, giving you complete peace of mind with your purchase.

🛡️ What’s Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Issues such as:
    • Loose handles or rivets
    • Blade separation
    • Unusual rust (not caused by misuse)
    • Edge chipping or breakage during everyday kitchen use
    • Other faults not caused by accidental damage or improper care.

🚫 What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., blade dulling from regular use)
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper cleaning (e.g., using the dishwasher, cutting bones or frozen food, or improper storage)
  • Rust caused by improper care (e.g., leaving the knife wet, not drying after washing)
  • Damage due to unauthorized repair or modification
  • Lost, stolen, or intentionally damaged items

📝 Warranty Service Process

📨 Submit a Claim:

Contact us via our Help Center with your order number, clear photos, and a detailed issue description.

🔍 Evaluation:

Our team will review your claim and may request additional information or photos if needed.

✅ Resolution:

  • If your claim is approved, we will offer a free replacement or repair (at our discretion).
  • You may be asked to return the defective item. If so, we’ll provide a prepaid return label (no cost to you).

📌 Important Notes

  • Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from Kasumi Japan or authorized retailers.
  • Warranty is non-transferable; valid for the original purchaser only.
  • Replacement items are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
